Integrity

Great managers know that when their individual employee's values are aligned with the companies their sense of pride, ownership and commitment grows exponentially.

The business case for managing integrity beyond compliance based on the tools shared in Corporate Integrity: A Toolkit for Managing Beyond Compliance, Donna Kennedy-Glans, publisher Wiley, 2005.

In the present environment of governance and rule-making, leaders within companies, governments and not-for-profit organizations are focused on compliance. Significant time and resources are being expended by Boards of Directors and management teams to ensure that reporting and governance systems are in compliance with emerging rules and laws. But, what is the result if "compliance" becomes an organization's primary motivation? Compliance alone may not help managers navigate the challenges of integrity dilemmas.

By making integrity a strategic priority (instead of something that they are forced to do or comply with), companies and other organizations can manage dilemmas more effectively to realize tangible financial returns and greater employee commitment. This program helps managers examine their organizations' motivation for acting with integrity, and provides tools, and best practices to approach integrity strategically in their individual departments. Their business case for integrity will be closely examined and they will be provided with the support to work with their teams as they integrate their integrity strategies into their department.
